On the 20 years completion of Lagaan, cast and crew will reunite again on Netflix Youtube channel

 The film was directed by Ashutosh Gowariker and produced by Aamir khan. The film was nominated for the Best Foreign Language category at the 74th Academy awards and received widespread critical and commercial acclaim.

The blockbuster movie Lagaan which has completed 20 years today. It was released on June 15, 2001 and was admired not only by Indians but outside the India. On this occassion, cast and crew of Lagaan film will reunite again on Netflix India's Youtube channel. It will start streaming soon with the title Chale Chalo Lagaan- Once upon an impossible dream.

The film was directed by Ashutosh Gowariker and produced by Aamir khan. The film was nominated for the Best Foreign Language category at the 74th Academy awards and received widespread critical and commercial acclaim.

This film was based on the pre-independence era of India in which villagers are worried about drought and high taxes of english government. Then, government gives them opportunity to play cricket with them and if they would win, there all taxes would have freed. Villagers were not aware of the cricket but they did work hard and won the cricket match against british team.

This film is very motivational and inspirational that's why this film is liked by the public even after 20 years. Aamir khan who was the actor and producer of this film said the team 'broke our backs' while making Lagaan, but their hearts were full of joy.

Ashutosh said it was his ultimate dream to create something which will linger in the audience's mind and Lagaan made that possible.

The film also starred Gracy Singh, Yashpal Sharma, Raghubir Yadav, Rajendra Gupta, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Rachel Shelley, Akhilendra Mishra, Paul blackthorne, Dayashankar Pandey, Suhasini Mulay, Rajesh Vivek, Pradeep Rawat, Raj Zutshi, Aditya Lakhia, Shrivallabh Vyas, Amin Hajee, Javed Khan, AK Hangal, Amin Gazi among others.
