Boris johnson will visit India in april

 


Britain's prime minister will visit India at the end of april. This will be his first international tour after the exit of Britain from European union. Britain said that he will come to unlock the opportunities in the strategic Indo-Pacific region.

Boris johnson was invited as a chief guest on the Republic day of India but he couldn't visit because of escalating covid-19 crisis in UK. 

At that time, covid-19 was spreading rapidly in the UK. That's why, Uk government had imposed lockdown there. So, Johnson couldn't come in the lockdown and he had announced that he will visit India in very short period.

The downing street said that he would unlock the opportunities for region, is expected to finalise UK-India Enhanced trade partnership (ETP) as a precursor for future trade agreements (FTA).

So, during the Boris johnson's visit, PM Narendra Modi and he will try to make the relations of India and UK more stronger. Presenting the review in parliament, Johnson said that he will visit India to "strengthen our ties with the world's largest democracy."
