UPSC 2020 final result has been declared, Bihar's Shubham Kumar topped

 UPSC has declared the final result of Civil Services (Mains) examination 2020. Shubham Kumar of Bihar has topped the exam. Candidates can check their result at www.upsc.gov.in.

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the 2020 final result. Shubham Kumar of Bihar topped in the examination who is graduate in B.Tech (Civil Engineering) from IIT Bombay. A total 761 candidates have been recommended for appointment.

Jagrati Awasthi secured 2nd position. She has graduated in B.Tech (Electrical engineering). She topped in the Women's list. Ankita Jain got 3rd position in the UPSC 2020 final result.

From top 25 positions, 13 are men and 12 are women candidates.

The prelims exam was conducted in October 2020 and Mains exam was held in January 2021. Interview/personality test was held in August-September 2021 for the post of Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and Central Services (Group A and B).

Candidates can check their result on the official website of UPSC www.upsc.gov.in. Marks will be available on the website within 15 days from the date of declaration of the result.

1. Go to the official website of UPSC www.upsc.gov.in

2. On the home page, there will be link available 'Final result (Mains) 2020'

3. Click on that link, then click on the link 'Click here》'

4. Pdf file will open on your screen

5. Check your name and roll number in that Pdf

Candidates would require to complete the three stages of the Civil services exam. First is prelims exam and who clears this first step, appears in Mains exam. After Mains exam, interview is the last stage and it is considered the toughest stage. Those who clears these three stages, becomes the officer.
