Happy Chhath Puja 2021:- Chhath Puja is the festival which is celebrated six days after diwali. This is celebrated in whole India with full of enthusiasm and fervour especially in Bihar, Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh. This is the four day festival which begins with Nahay-Khay and ends with Usha Arghya.
During these days, people keep fast and worship the Sun and Chhath Maiya. This year, it starts on November 8 and will end on November 11. Chhath puja is the way to express gratitude towards the Sun. Lord Sun makes the life possible on earth. According to the Environmentalists, Chhath puja is one of the most eco-friendly religious festivals.
The holy bathing, prayers, fasting, standing in water bodies, prasad, offering arghya to setting and rising sun are the rituals of Chhath puja. The first day of this festival is known as Nahay-Khay, the second day as Kharna, third day as Sandhya Arghya and the fourth day as Usha Arghya.
