After losing two matches from Pakistan and New Zealand, India will play its third match against Afghanistan on wednesday November 3, 2021. It is the do or die match for both the teams. If India loses this match then it will completely be out from the t20 world cup tournament.
Although Afghanistan is not as strong as Pakistan and New Zealand but Afghanistan has the capability to give tough competition to team India. Afghanistan has won its last match against Namibia and it boosted their confidence.
On the other hand, India has faced lost in its first two matches and the confidence of team India is low because India's strong batting order and bowlers are not performing well in the Super 12 matches of T20 World Cup. Captain of India performed well in the first match against Pakistan. He hit half-century in that match but no other batsman could do well.
India's bowler couldn't even take one wicket in the first match and Pakistan won that match by 10 wickets. In the second match against New Zealand, India scored only 110 runs in 20 overs. Bowlers of India couldn't perform well too except Jasprit Bumrah. India has taken only two wickets in its first two matches and that wickets has been taken by Jasprit Bumrah in the second match against New Zealand.
In the Group B, Pakistan has confirmed its place in the semi-final and now is the competition for second semi-finalists from Group B. New Zealand, Afghanistan and India are in this competition. In the Group A, England has confirmed its place in the semi-final.
