Pollard becomes the third batsman who hits 6 sixes in an over. Yuvraj and Gibson said " welcome to the club "

This is first time in the history of cricket in which hat- trick and 6 sixes came simultaneously in the match between West Indies and Sri lanka.

Akila dananjaya who is the all- rounder of Sri lanka, took hat- trick in his second over and in his third over, Kieron pollard hits 6 sixes to him. In his hat- trick, he took the wickets of Louis, Gayle and Pooran.

This is also the first time when 7 consecutive sixes hit against one bowler. After Kieron pollard's 6 sixes, Holder hit the six on first ball of the Dananjaya's fourth over. Therefore, Akila dananjaya becomes the first bowler to get hit for 7 consecutive sixes. 

After the match, Kieron pollard said in the interview that after hitting 3 consecutive sixes, he decided to hit 6 sixes. After Kieron pollard's this achievement, Yuvraj and Gibson said to him that welcome to the club. Before Pollard, only two batsmen have done this in the international cricket i.e. Yuvraj and Gibson.
