Punjab government has postponed the deadline for installing high security number plates to 15th april


 Government of punjab gave one more chance to the vehicle owners for installing high security number plates. Government gave them 15th april as deadline for installing number plates. 

During 8 months, these number plates have been fixed on 13 lakh vehicles but still there are many vehicle owners who didn't fix high security number plates on their vehicles.

After 15th april, 2021 department officers will start putting fines or penalties to them who will not install high security number plate.

Transport minister Razia sultana said that h.s.r.p. are being fixed on 102 centres in the state. In these centres, vehicle owners can install plates by giving online time and money on mobile application 'HSRP Punjab' or on website www.punjabhsrp.in.

High security number plates are highly secured as compared to normal number plates. With the help of this plate, police can easily track to lost or stolen vehicles. So, it will help in increasing the protection of vehicles.
