World Book Day has been celebrating every year since 1995

Every year 23 april is celebrated as a world book day. This day has been celebrating by the whole world since 1995. In the year 1995, UNESCO had held a meeting and started celebrating world book day. This day is celebrating on the death anniversary of renowned authors. On this date in 1616, Cervantes, Shakespeare and Inca Garcilaso de la vega all were died.

World Book Day describes the importance of books in the human life. Books are the best friend of human beings. They can't break their trust. During the covid-19 pandemic, books become the entertainment source. People read the books with full of enthusiasm during the lockdown period. These have the capability to change the personality of good readers.

For the celebration of this day UNESCO has created a Bookface challenge. The city Tbilisi in the Georgia is the world book capital of 2021. Each year, UNESCO and other international organizations representing the three major sectors of the book industry - publishers, booksellers and libraries.

The cover of the book also plays very important role at the time of buying books. So, good choice of cover is also required for publishing books. But there is also a famous quote about this 'Don't judge a book by its cover'.
