Dilip Joshi who is popularly known as Jethalal from the show 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' (TMKOC) turns 53 on may 26. He plays lead role in the show. This show is one of the longest running shows in India. People love this show very much especially because of Jethalal.
'TMKOC' show has been running on the Sab tv channel since 2008. On-screen couple in the show Jethalal and Daya has been very much liked by the people. Disha Vakani aka Daya also played lead role in the show as a wife of Jethalal. Disha Vakani took a break from the show as she was expecting her first child in 2017. She didn't return in the show yet.

Dilip Joshi got fame from 'TMKOC' show. But before this show, he has played many roles in different films and shows. He had made his bollywood debut in 1989 from the film 'Maine Pyar Kiya' in which Salman khan and Bhagyashree was in the lead role. In that movie, Dilip Joshi had played the role of Ramu. He has also done many films with Shahrukh khan and Akshay kumar as well.
Dilip Joshi has also performed in many serials like Kora kagaz, Do or do paanch, Yeh duniya hai rangeen, Kya baat hai, Daal mein kala, Hum sab baraati and many others.
Dilip Joshi plays very good role in 'TMKOC' which is a family show. He entertains people with his perfect comedy timing. He also use his facial expressions for the comedy. In the show, he plays a role of decent and obedient son who always respects his father.
