Padma Shree awardee and former IMA President KK Aggarwal has passed away after battling with Covid-19

 62 years old Dr. KK Aggarwal has passed away after battling a long fight with Covid-19. He was admitted in delhi's All India Institute of Medical Sciences after his health was started deteriorating. He was on the ventilator support from one week.

Dr KK Aggarwal was Padma Shree awardee and was the former President of Indian Medical Assiciation. He had received Dr BC Roy award in 2005 and Padma Shree award in 2010.

He did his schooling in delhi and MBBS degree in Nagpur University. He was cardiologist by profession. He was also the head of Heart care foundation of India.

He was also very active on social media and used to post videos on the Covid-19 aspects for providing useful information to the public. On his demise, a tweet has been posted in which it has been said that "Ever since he became a doctor, Padma Shree awardee Dr KK Aggarwal dedicated his life to the welfare of the public and raising health awareness.

Even during the pandemic, he made constant efforts to educate the masses and was able to reach out to over 100 million people through numerous videos and educational programmes and saved countless lives. He wanted his life to be celebrated and not mourned. His spirit of spreading positivity in the direst of circumstances must be kept alive in each one of us. Let us remember him for his work and indomitable spirit. Kindly pray for the peace of the departed soul and for strength to the bereaved family."
