IPL 2021:- Second phase of IPL is going to start from September 19 with the match between MI and CSK

 The second phase of 14th edition of the IPL is going to start from September 19 sunday. First match of the second phase will be played between Rohit Sharma led Mumbai Indians and Mahendra Singh Dhoni's Chennai Super Kings in Dubai.

The first phase of the IPL was called off in the month of may after the outbreak of second wave of Covid-19 pandemic. 29 matches have been played in the first phase of IPL. On sunday, 30th match will be played between CSK and MI.

IPL could be helpful for the players for the upcoming T20 World Cup which will start just after the IPL final. IPL would be played in UAE and T20 World Cup will also be held in UAE. So, players can do the judgement of the pitches of Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi stadiums.

IPL final will take place on October 15, 2021 and T20 World Cup will start from October 17, 2021. Last year, IPL 2020 had also taken place in UAE as Covid-19 pandemic was active In India at that time. That IPL had proven safe in UAE and this time again it would take place there.

IPL matches can be seen live on Star Sports network and disney plus hotstar. The match between MI and CSK will start from 7:30 pm on sunday. Chennai Super Kings is on 2nd position on the points table with 10 points and Mumbai Indians on 4th position with 8 points.

Last year, performance of Chennai Super Kings was not good but this time MS Dhoni's team doing very good. Rituraj Gaikwad and Sam Curran of CSK both are in good form.

Rishabh Pant's Delhi Capitals is on top position with 12 points and Virat Kohli led Royal Challengers Bangalore is on 3rd position. Virat Kohli would do his best to win the IPL as it would boost his confidence for the T20 World Cup. He has announced that he will step down as India's T20 Captain after this T20 World Cup.
