Puneeth Rajkumar dies due to cardiac arrest at the age of 46. He was in the ICU of private hospital of the Bangalore. Many politicians and his fellow actors paid tribute to him.

The Kannada actor, singer, producer and television presenter Puneeth Rajkumar dies due to cardiac arrest. He was admitted in the private hospital of Bengalaru on friday as he had complained the chest pain. He was just 46.

It is said that he was working out when he felt chest pain and immediately he was admitted in the hospital. Doctors said that it was a massive heart attack. He was in the intensive care unit and was not in the responsive state.

The news of Sidharth Shukla's demise had not yet digested and the another news of Puneeth Rajkumar's sudden demise came out. Sidharth was the popular tv actor and he too died due to cardiac arrest at the age of 40.

Puneeth Rajkumar was a fit and healthy person and was admired for his looks. He was popularly known as 'Appu' and 'Power Star'. He was the lead actor in almost 29 films and also appeared as child actor in many films.

Puneeth's sudden demise shocked everyone whether these are actors, politicians or common people. They mourned on the death of popular kannada actor. Prime minister Narendra Modi also paid tribute to him.

 

Karnataka chief minister Basavaraj Bommai expressed his condolences on the death of Rajkumar. "I am deeply shocked by the death of famous actor Puneet Rajkumar due to heart attack. Appu was the favourite of Kannadigas. Karnataka and Kannada will feel this deep loss. May his soul rest in peace. I pray that his fans have the strength to bear this loss", he wrote.

 Puneeth Rajkumar was the son of Dr. Rajkumar who was also the famous kannada actor. Puneeth's elder brother Shiva Rajkumar is also a popular actor. 

Puneeth had made his acting debut in 2002 from the masala film 'Appu'. He achieved six Karnataka state film awards. He had also received the award for the best child artist at the National Film awards in 1985.
