UP government has extended lockdown till 17th may amid rise in Covid cases

 

Lockdown has been extended in UP till 17th may 

UP government has taken the decision of lockdown extension amid rise in Covid-19 cases. There is already lockdown in UP till 10th may and now this has been extended till 17th may. According to ANI, ACS Navneet Sehgal has given this information on sunday.

Essential services and medical services will remain open during the lockdown. E-pass will be required for intra-state and inter-state travelling. Residents of UP can apply online for an E-pass.

Government and private offices will remain closed. All educational institutions will also remain closed. All malls, cinemas, theatres, sports complexes, gyms, spas will remain closed during the lockdown. Social, political, religious gatherings will not be allowed.

Only 100 persons can attend the wedding in open place and 50 in indoor. Only 20 persons are allowed in funerals. The person who will not wear mask will be fined of Rs. 1000 and Rs. 10000 if this mistake repeated. 

On saturday, UP has reported 26847 new coronavirus cases and 298 deaths in 24 hours. 15170 persons have been died with coronavirus in UP so far.
