World Photography Day 2021:- History and Significance of this day

First time, this day came into existence in the year 1937 when first-ever photographic process 'Daguerreotype' was developed by the French men Louis Daguerre and Joseph Nicephore Niepce.

On 19th August, World Photography day is being observed every year across the world. This day admires the art, skill and creativity of the photographers who presents beautiful photos to the world. In the modernisation, new technology of cameras has been developed and now-a-days camera has reached to all the people in their mobile phones.

We know, time never stops but we can capture the memory of particular time period in the form of photos and that photo always remains with us. We can collect the sweet memories of our past with the help of photo. History of World Photography Day

First time, this day came into existence in the year 1937 when first-ever photographic process 'Daguerreotype' was developed by the French men Louis Daguerre and Joseph Nicephore Niepce. After two years In 1939, French Academy of Sciences acknowledged this day. French government purchased the patent of this invention and gave it as a gift 'free to the World.' However, Coloured photography came in the year 1861.

Significance of World Photography Day

Photography is not just clicking the photo of anything but it includes the perception and creativity of the photographer. They do photography in this way that people can see  some new thing in the photo which they don't see in normal life. Many countries and institutions give International Photography awards every year to the best photos and photographers.

Photographs give clear picture to the human mind which words can't. That's why, in the newspapers and articles too representational photo is being added so that it can grab the attention of the people and they can understand on which topic the article is.
